My insomnia continues to plague me almost every night. I used to think it may have been self inflicted? But now I know there is nothing that can stop it!
I try to tire myself out throughout the day, in hopes to be so exhausted that I'll literally hit the bed.
Doesn't work as often as I would want.
I ended up trying to take naps when I'm really tired in the middle of the day. But I just lay there... Later on that night I try again to sleep. But still nothing for hours on end...
I know sometimes, it's my mind is racing and it won't ever take a break!
But only some of the time that's the problem.
I really don't get it?
Maybe it's hereditary?
Hopefully I don't post again tonight.

Trying To Arive At Work Without Enough Sleep

I can't count how many times I went to bed and just couldn't sleep only to give up and become real tired as soon as that decision was final? Then of course I can't go back to sleep and have to get up in ten minutes or less(short version of my long nights)?
Awake again, for there is no sleep
Some people think it's more time for me
But the things I need, don't necessarily get done
the burden of trying to sleep, is burden enough for some
I'd rather be sleeping and not just act like a puppet that's stuffed
the thing that troubles me most, is the Insomnia doubles enough?
I cannot even touch it... Why is it too far to reach?
But that's the way it is for for me, if you want to decipher
things do not differ
I continue to try
But only, to suffer...

I'm also a insomniac

I'm a insomniac differently from paul, for starters I have trouble falling asleep like Paul but when I do sleep it doesn't last just last night I got wasted and went to sleep at 1:30 knowing that I had to wake up at 7:45 in the mourning but before I know it I woke up at 4:00 wide awake...

Today I was exhausted but when I laid down for 3 hours, there was still no sleep? Either way, I got the chance to rest my eyes?
I still find it relaxing even though, I do not get any sleep out of it.
I feel the need for sleep and when you are deprived of that, it makes things a little different.

There are a lot of different types of Insomnia!
I didn't really know the extent of it?
Supposedly 60 million americans have it,
and they didn't even ask or include me?

For me I think the worst torture I've endured in this life, is not getting enough sleep.
Laying down for hours, wasting more time trying to sleep than actually getting any?
Mentally it's very hard for me to live like a normal person.
I've not tried acupressure?
Insomnia...
The most overlooked problem out there.
For the people out there who have Insomnia, I sympathize.
I have had Insomnia as long as I can remember.
The worst is when a person doesn't believe it's a problem. Well to them it isn't a problem because they don't have to live with it everyday.

Insomnia changes my attitude and it also makes it harder for me to think. Physically I tend to feel wore down from it and sometimes it causes me to feel a little more depressed.
